Gothenburg Extending Dining Table

Description

Solid ash is the whole story of the Gothenburg: no veneer, no chipboard core, just a table built to be extended and folded back down for years without the joint working loose. Closed, it measures 160 by 90 cm and comfortably seats six; pull the leaf out and it reaches 210 by 90 cm with room for eight, both at a standard 75 cm height. The wood is left with a natural oiled finish or a lighter white oiled option, and either way the surface resists the usual scratches from cutlery and hot plates. Because it is a solid wood item rather than a flat pack panel design, delivery takes 14 to 20 days and the table arrives fully assembled. It carries a 24 month warranty covering the extension mechanism as well as the frame.
